Dr. Eckman graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in 2001. Prior to studying at Chiropractic School, he attended Moravian College obtaining a Bachelor's degree in biology. Dr. Eckman has been practicing in Stanly County since September of 2001 at Albemarle Chiropractic Center. Since he began practicing chiropractic care, Dr. Eckman has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care. He has earned certifications in Cox Flexion-Distraction technique and Golf injury treatment and prevention. While treating patients of all ages and conditions, Dr. Eckman's primary focus in practice is sports injuries. He became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 2013. He also received his Crossfit Level 1 certification in 2014.
Dr. Eckman is also very active in the community. His most recent involvement is with the North Stanly Comets Flag Football team. For years, he volunteered as the chiropractor/team physician for the Albemarle High School Bulldogs football team. He is an adjunct faculty member at Stanly Community College where he teaches Anatomy and Physiology to aspiring health care professionals.
In his spare time, Dr. Eckman enjoys Crossfit as both a participant and Coach and participating in outdoor challenge races.
